How is works: The Move and Melt System

Traditional fitness often ignores tight, restricted tissues, while traditional massage provides relief that doesn't always last. The SK Bodywork MEthod bridges this gap by combing targeted massage and pilates based exercise in every session.

We work in two phases:

Phase 1: Release (targeted massage, stretch, & mobility

We begin with hands on massage, stretches and mobility exercises to target trigger points, soften tight and restrictive muscles, improve joint range of movement so you feel less stiff, so we can create space and ease in your body.

Phase 2: Strengthen ( Pilates based movement)

Once your body is feeling less stiff and tight, your muscles become more receptive and relaxed, we can then transition more into targeted pilates movement to help strengthen your muscles. 

Why it works

By releasing the restriction before you move, you don't train on top of dysfunction. You get the immediate relief of massage, back up by lasting strength of functional movement.
